Synopsis & Scholarly Abstract
We are delighted to bring out this book on BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION OF SESHACHALAM BIOSPHERE RESERVE. This book represents the status of this biosphere. It is evident that the biosphere had experienced three different major changes in the recent and past with the human intervention. Biospheres are natural resources of local regional and global significance. Biosphere conservation has become a high priority worldwide. Supported by inte ational agreements such as Ramsar Convention and the inte ational convention of Biological diversity. Biospheres have been identified that may even outweigh biodiversity in terms of their importance for human welfare and sustainable natural resource management. India is one amongst 12 mega biodiversity countries of the world. India which is the 7th largest country in area and 2nd largest populated country. Present study aims to explore the phytodiversity conservation of Seshachalam biosphere reserve. The Authors gratefully acknowledge the support rendered by Prof. R.
